Casting call for Mission US: Spirit of a Nation
Used by more than four million students and educators to date, Mission US (mission-us.org) is public media’s award-winning educational gaming project that immerses young people in transformational moments from U.S. history. In each mission, players take on the role of a young person at a pivotal time as they meet historic figures, witness key events, grapple with multiple perspectives, make difficult choices, and experience consequences in a complex historical scenario. In doing so, they gain insight into how ordinary people shaped, and have been shaped by, our past inflatable obstacle course.
We are currently casting voiceover roles for our upcoming interactive mission, “Spirit of a Nation,” which will immerse players in the experiences of fictionalized Apalachee characters before and after their first contact with European explorers in the 1500s and 1600s. Our priority is to cast Indigenous talent for the Apalachee and other Indigenous characters. We are open to working with talent located anywhere in the country.
Please see our casting call document for information on the roles we are currently casting and instructions for submitting an audition. We look forward to hearing your voices!
