The recording is now available for our free edWebinar, “Exploring the Civil Rights Movement Using Interactive, Game-Based Learning.” Middle and high school social studies and humanities teachers, and school library/media specialists have the opportunity to look at new ways of teaching history and contemporary issues in this session, which spotlights Mission US and the program’s newly launched interactive mission, No Turning Back, a look at the 1960s civil rights movement. Presenters discussed the historical and cultural context of the mission and strategies for incorporating the game and supporting materials into your classroom inflatable tent.
